Imagine Learning is a leading provider of digital-first K–12 curriculum solutions, committed to igniting learning breakthroughs through its "Curriculum-Informed AI™" approach. They are a remote-friendly company dedicated to transforming education.
The AI Workflow & Automation Architect for Multimedia focuses on the discovery, evaluation, and integration of AI tools for creating multimedia content (audio, video, imagery). This role supports the creative and curriculum teams by building capacity to work with external tools and by creating internal workflows that lead to faster and more reliable internal processes.
Responsibilities
Research & Discovery: Track and assess emerging AI multimedia tools and models to identify where AI can accelerate creative pipelines and reduce manual effort.
Evaluation & Integration: Pilot and evaluate tools/APIs for cost, quality, and reliability. Build automation and connections using Python and workflow platforms (e.g., StackAI, AWS Flows).
Enablement & Training: Serve as an AI liaison to creative and curriculum teams, sharing best practices, running training sessions, and documenting usage patterns.
Operationalization: Partner with the AI Workflow & Automation Manager to productionize successful pilots into supported internal solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with creative content experts and adjacent engineering/ops partners, focusing on enablement and automation rather than direct content creation.
Requirements
Required Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (CS, Product Management, Education, etc.) and at least 3 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working on SaaS or AI/ML products; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with AI-driven multimedia content generation and end-to-end content creation workflows.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate AI tools for content creation.
Some experience with scripting and comfort working with APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
K-12 edtech experience is highly preferred.
Experience in educational settings or with educational content.
Advanced programming or scripting skills (e.g., deeper Python, Node.js).
Exposure to agentic orchestration patterns, model selection, or prompt parameterization.
Familiarity with related tools (e.g., TTS/STT, captioning, asset management).
