Radiant is a Mac app that records your meetings and then does something most AI notetakers don't: it finishes the work. Built by the team behind Supernormal, it captures audio from Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or even in-person conversations without needing a bot to join your call. The app runs locally on your Mac, processes everything on-device, and never uploads audio to the cloud.
What makes it different is what happens after the meeting ends. Radiant doesn't just hand you a transcript and wish you luck. It identifies action items, pulls out decisions, and then connects to tools like Linear, Notion, Gmail, Google Docs, and Slack to draft tasks, emails, or updates. You review what it's created, tweak if needed, and send.
Here's how it works in practice: You finish a product sync where someone mentions a bug that needs fixing and a feature request from a customer. Radiant picks up both, drafts a Linear ticket with the bug details, and creates a separate card for the feature request, complete with context from the conversation. It can also draft a follow-up email to that customer or write a project update for your team in Notion.
The app is free during beta and works exclusively on Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or later). Intel Macs and Windows users are out of luck for now, though there's a waitlist. It supports English only at this stage.
Ideal for product managers, founders, and engineering leads are the core audience, especially those already using Linear, Notion, or similar tools. If your workflow involves a lot of back-and-forth between meetings and project management software, this could save you real time.
The comparison to "similar" tools is clear. Otter.ai and Fireflies.ai stop at transcription. They give you notes but leave execution entirely to you. Radiant takes the extra step by drafting the actual outputs, whether that's a ticket, an email, or a document.
