Sr Manager Data Architecture – Principal Architect (Agentic AI): DXC Technology (DXC)

DXC Technology is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and governance for Agentic AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) across large enterprises (10k+ applications, 250+ data sources). This leadership role is split between direct client engagement and developing internal AI offerings and accelerators.

Responsibilities
The role is divided between two primary areas:

1. Client Engagement (≈50%)

Advise CxO/VP stakeholders on agentic operating models (e.g., planner–executor, tool registries, memory, Human-in-the-Loop (HITL)).

Architect RAG 2.0 platforms, including hybrid/semantic search, graph-RAG, retrieval policy, and API grounding to line-of-business systems.

Define and establish LLMOps/MLOps practices for experimentation, evaluations (evals), cost controls, and model risk management (e.g., banking model risk like SR 11-7).

Solution across multiple clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP, Dataiku, Databricks/Fabric) based on compliance and performance needs.

2. Offering Development (≈50%)

Author reference architectures and control-plane diagrams for agents, tools, evals, safety, and governance.

Build reusable accelerators, including ingestion pipelines, chunking/embedding strategies, retrieval services, and guardrail stacks (e.g., Azure AI Content Safety, Bedrock Guardrails).

Stand up evaluation frameworks (e.g., Prompt flow, Langfuse, MLflow) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (Terraform/Bicep).

Publish internal playbooks and mentor other engineers and pre-sales teams.

Required Qualifications
Shipped production agentic systems or complex RAG platforms with measurable outcomes.

Deep expertise in data architecture and governance (e.g., catalog/lineage, data mesh/marketplace, privacy, PII/PCI/PHI).

Platform fluency in Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI and at least one of: AWS Bedrock/SageMaker or Google Vertex AI; plus Dataiku.

Vector/RAG depth with technologies like Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, pgvector, and hybrid search/rerankers.

Infra & Integration: Experience with AKS/EKS/GKE, Serverless Functions, API gateways, Kafka/Event Hubs, and IaC (Terraform/Bicep).

Security/Compliance: Experience with Zero Trust, IAM (Entra ID/KMS), and private networking.

Nice to Have
Domain expertise in Financial Services (FSI), Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Automotive (Auto), or Health & Life Sciences (HLS).

Experience with agentic frameworks like Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, LangChain, or Prompt flow.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks integration patterns.
