Sr Manager Data Architecture – Principal Architect (Agentic AI) at DXC Technology

DXC Technology is seeking a Principal Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, and governance for Agentic AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) across large enterprises. This senior-level role involves defining operating models, blueprinting reference architectures, and guiding platform choices across major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data platforms (Databricks, Dataiku, etc.).

The role is divided equally between direct client engagement and the development of reusable, internal AI accelerators.

Responsibilities
Client Engagement (≈50%):

Advise CxO and VP-level stakeholders on agentic operating models (e.g., planner–executor, tool registries, memory) and advanced RAG 2.0 architectures (hybrid search, graph-RAG, reranking).

Define LLMOps/MLOps strategies, including experimentation, evaluations, cost controls, and model risk management.

Design solutions across multiple clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP, Dataiku, Databricks/Fabric) based on data gravity, latency, and compliance requirements.

Offering Development (≈50%):

Author reference architectures and control-plane diagrams for agents, tools, safety, and governance.

Build accelerators for ingestion pipelines, retrieval services, and guardrail stacks (e.g., Azure AI Content Safety, Bedrock Guardrails, Llama Guard).

Establish evaluation frameworks (e.g., Prompt flow, Langfuse, MLflow) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (Terraform/Bicep).

Publish internal playbooks and mentor engineers and pre-sales teams.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Must have shipped production agentic systems or complex RAG platforms with measurable outcomes.

Deep expertise in data architecture & governance (e.g., data mesh, privacy, PII/PCI/PHI).

Platform fluency in Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI AND at least one of the following: AWS Bedrock/SageMaker or Google Vertex AI; Dataiku.

In-depth knowledge of vector/RAG technologies (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, pgvector) and hybrid search.

Experience with Infra & Integration (e.g., AKS/EKS/GKE, Functions/Lambda, API gateways, Kafka, IaC with Terraform/Bicep).

Strong understanding of security/compliance (e.g., Zero Trust, Entra ID/IAM, Key Vault/KMS, private networking).

Nice to Have:

Domain expertise in Financial Services (FSI), CPG, Auto, or Health & Life Sciences (HLS).

Experience with agentic frameworks like Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or LangChain.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks integration patterns.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
