Senior Technical Product Manager (AI/ML PaaS): Tether

Tether is a global financial technology company pioneering a financial revolution through reserve-backed tokens and blockchain technology. Beyond its well-known stablecoin, USDT, Tether has divisions focused on sustainable Bitcoin mining, AI and peer-to-peer technology, and digital education.

In this role, you will spearhead the vision, strategy, and execution of Local AI applications designed to empower users with on-device, privacy-focused AI capabilities. You will integrate these applications seamlessly with Tether's P2P ecosystem to create decentralized, efficient, and secure experiences. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced product leader to take full ownership of building, scaling, and ensuring the success of new Local AI apps.

Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and champion a long-term vision for Local AI apps, aligning with company objectives and user privacy.

User-Centric Focus: Engage with users, developers, and researchers to identify market opportunities and deliver seamless experiences.

Feature Expertise: Lead the ideation, prioritization, and definition of features that leverage on-device processing for efficiency and security.

Design and Wireframing: Create simple wireframes and prototypes to communicate design concepts.

Stakeholder Communication: Build relationships with executives, engineers, and partners to foster strategic alliances and gather feedback.

Ownership and Leadership: Develop and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, partnering with cross-functional teams for successful launches.

Go-To-Market: Build and own launch plans, collaborating with marketing teams to position the Local AI apps as valuable solutions.

Performance Tracking: Define and monitor KPIs related to app engagement, user satisfaction, and privacy compliance.

Requirements
Required Experience:

5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years managing AI-powered applications, preferably Local AI.

A strong technical understanding of AI/ML concepts, such as on-device inference, model optimization, and privacy-preserving techniques.

Expertise in feature design, prioritization, and roadmap development for AI products.

Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder communication and the ability to design simple wireframes.

A degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

Hands-on experience with Local AI frameworks or tools (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, Core ML).

Experience in blockchain or P2P technologies, particularly in decentralized AI contexts.

Familiarity with UX/UI best practices for mobile/desktop apps.

Experience with data-driven decision-making (e.g., A/B testing, user journey mapping).
