This role is focused on creating innovative, customer-facing tools and features for Grok.com, with a specific emphasis on user productivity and agent automation. The ideal candidate is an experienced and adaptable software engineer who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and is local to the Bay Area or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role is designing, building, and supporting robust services and tools for agentic workflows on Grok.com.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required:

Expertise in a compiled language like Rust, C++, or Go (Rust or C++ preferred).

Expertise in Python.

Experience designing reliable, horizontally scalable distributed systems.

Experience in API design.

Bonus Points for Familiarity With:

TypeScript and React

gRPC

Kubernetes
