Senior Machine Learning Engineer: 3D Generative AI

Genies, a pioneering AI avatar and games technology company, is seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join its R&D initiatives. Backed by major investors like Silver Lake and Bob Iger, Genies is building the technology stack for the next generation of digital experiences, empowering users to create AI avatars, fashion, and immersive social gaming ecosystems.

This is a crucial role where you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying the machine learning models that produce high-quality 3D assets for Genies' avatar creation ecosystem. You will be one of the pioneering engineers shaping the future of consumer self-expression and creativity, working at the forefront of a new industry with emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop 3D Generative Models: Design, train, fine-tune, and deploy advanced machine learning models (e.g., diffusion, GANs, Transformers) to synthesize 3D meshes, images, and motion.

Integrate AI Solutions: Collaborate with R&D and application teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into the Genies avatar creation ecosystem, leveraging 3D computer vision and computer graphics techniques.

Manage ML Infrastructure: Handle the full ML lifecycle, including dataset management, cloud computing resources, experiment tracking, and model deployment.

Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with Product and Creative teams to refine AI-powered creator tools and stay up-to-date on emerging AI technologies to drive strategic innovation.

Communicate Technical Concepts: Clearly explain complex technical decisions and project updates to diverse stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and product managers.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field with a strong emphasis on machine learning.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional or research experience in machine learning, computer vision, or computer graphics.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python and extensive experience with AI/DL frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Experience in multimodal training for 3D computer vision and graphics (e.g., generative models, Transformers, NeRF, Gaussian Splatting).

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry experience with AI-driven content creation for games or animation.

A publication track record at top conferences (SIGGRAPH, CVPR, NeurIPS, etc.).

Experience training and scaling large machine learning models in production.
