Senior Director, Business Development, North Asia: Circle

Circle is a financial technology company focused on the emerging "internet of money," enabling value to travel globally and instantly, with infrastructure that includes the blockchain-based dollar, USDC.

As the Senior Director of Business Development for North Asia, you will be responsible for building the ecosystem and developing strategic partnerships in the region. You will own OKRs, manage the partnership pipeline, and guide internal stakeholders through the ambiguous landscape of Web3 policy developments and market trends. This senior role also requires hiring, training, and building a world-class business development and sales organization.

Responsibilities
Manage, train, and lead high-velocity, cross-functional teams.

Develop and forecast on a metrics-driven pipeline.

Work closely with the team on key deals to ensure strategic targets are closed and key inbound business is won.

Requirements
10+ years of experience selling Fintech or technology products and developing strategic partnerships in the North Asia region.

5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams.

Experience as a responsible officer of a regulated financial services entity in North Asia or a Tier 1 jurisdiction.

Previous senior management experience with an understanding of cross-functional execution.

Business fluent in Mandarin, and preferably Cantonese.

Professional and technical knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.

Exceptional leadership experience with the proven ability to hire, retain, and motivate employees.

Ability to travel up to 50% across the Asia region.

Experience with Salesforce, Slack, and GSuite.
