Zinnia is a leading technology platform for the life and annuities insurance industry, providing enterprise solutions and data insights to simplify the experience of buying, selling, and administering insurance products.
They are seeking a highly motivated Data & AI Insights Program Manager with deep knowledge of the Life & Annuities industry, particularly in sales and distribution. This role involves owning and managing Zinnia’s data and AI insights program, working across stakeholders to shape, prioritize, and deliver data products. You will act as the "voice of the field," ensuring that the solutions built are strategically relevant and immediately impactful for clients.
Responsibilities
Program Ownership: Lead Zinnia’s Data & Insights program, defining the roadmap, priorities, and execution strategy.
Industry Lens: Serve as the “voice of the field” by using your industry experience to guide product decisions and translate client needs into data requirements.
Client Stories: Articulate how carriers, distributors, and advisors will use data in their daily workflows.
Product Partnership: Work closely with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to ensure data products are accurate and aligned with business needs.
Insights Development: Shape dashboards, reports, and analytics products that deliver real value to clients.
Change Advocacy: Champion the adoption of new data-driven tools with internal stakeholders and clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between sales/distribution leaders and technical teams.
Requirements
Required Experience:
10+ years of experience in insurance or annuity sales, distribution, wholesaling, or relationship management roles.
Strong understanding of how carriers, distributors, and advisors operate.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional programs.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate industry needs into product requirements.
Proven ability to influence and build trust with executives and various partners.
Bonus Points:
A background in the Life and Annuities Industry, Insurtech, or SaaS.
Experience working directly with carriers, IMOs, BGAs, broker-dealers, or banks in a distribution context.
Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
A strong network in the Life & Annuities ecosystem.
