About the Programme
For over a decade, MEST Africa has been at the forefront of nurturing tech talent on the continent. The program is divided into two main phases:
Seven-Month Intensive Training (January - July 2026): Entrepreneurs-in-Training (EITs) will undergo a rigorous curriculum focused on AI software development, lean startup methodologies, business modeling, go-to-market strategies, and leadership development. The training will be led by a global team of experts, including practitioners, founders, and industry veterans.
Four-Month Incubation (September - December 2026): The most promising teams from the training phase will be selected to enter the incubation stage. This phase is dedicated to scaling their AI-powered products, acquiring customers, and preparing for seed investment. The program culminates in a pitch session where successful startups will have the opportunity to secure pre-seed funding from MEST.
Who Should Apply?

Age: 21 - 30 years old.
Citizenship: A citizen of a West African country.
Education: A bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.
Skills: Demonstrated experience in software development, a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence, and a strong interest in entrepreneurship.
Commitment: Willingness to commit to a full-time, year-long residential program in Accra.
