About the Role:
Binance is seeking a highly skilled LLM Applied Data Scientist to advance the reasoning and planning capabilities of large foundation models. This role involves enhancing model performance across the entire development lifecycle, from data acquisition and supervised fine-tuning (SFT) to reinforcement learning.

The core responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing data processing and retrieval pipelines (RAG) for enterprise-level generative tasks in areas like Customer Service and Web3 Domain Models. The scientist will research and evaluate advanced AI-native retrieval algorithms, collaborate with teams to integrate RAG pipelines into production, and apply NLP/CV methods to analyze user-generated content. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and capable of owning projects end-to-end, from design to deployment.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Information Retrieval, NLP, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Proficient in PyTorch with strong coding skills in Python or C++.

Solid theoretical foundation in information retrieval, NLP, and deep learning.

Hands-on experience with RAG, vector databases, or large-scale AI systems.

Strong engineering ability to translate research into scalable, production-level systems.

Publications in top-tier conferences or awards in coding competitions are a plus.
