Geo Data Evaluator - Catalan: TELUS International

TELUS International is seeking freelance Geo Data Evaluators who are fluent in both English and Catalan for a project aimed at improving the content and quality of digital maps. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with strong research skills and good knowledge of Spanish national and local geography. The position offers a flexible schedule of up to 10-30 hours per week, depending on task availability, with most tasks available between 10 AM and 6 PM daily.

Responsibilities
Complete research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment.

Verify and compare data, categorize photos and videos, and determine the relevance and accuracy of information.

Collect and verify Points of Interest (POI) data to support optimized map performance.

Make phone calls, including as a mystery shopper, to collect detailed information about businesses.

Interpret and follow established guidelines to execute each task accurately.

Requirements
Must be fluent in both written and verbal English and Catalan.

Must have been living in Spain for the last three consecutive years.

Good knowledge of current and historical business, media, sports, news, and cultural affairs in Spain.

Ability to complete research online using search engines and online maps.

Must be 18 years or older.

Must own and use a desktop/laptop and/or smartphone, and have access to a broadband internet connection.

Must have a headset or headphones with a microphone.

Must use Gmail as the primary email address.

Must be able to pass an online, open-book qualification exam.
