Data and AI Workflow Engineer Catalyst

This is a 2-year program within Sanofi's Data and AI Future Catalyst Program, offering participants the chance to work on various projects, learn about pharmaceutical business domains, and gain professional growth, with potential for a preferred position upon completion based on business needs. Sanofi is an R&D-driven biopharma company focused on AI-powered innovations to improve lives and drive growth, with a strong emphasis on digital transformation, data, AI, and ML solutions across R&D, manufacturing, and commercial operations. The role is part of the Global AI Centre of Excellence in Toronto, involving collaboration with a diverse global team. Responsibilities include gathering and transforming data assets, developing and maintaining data/ML engineering solutions and ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality, designing data models, collaborating with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, building AI/ML applications, implementing automated monitoring, and focusing on AI Workflow initiatives to modernize processes through automation and AI agents. Requirements include legal authorization to work in Canada, an undergraduate degree or higher in STEM (preferred), experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), data structures, algorithms, and cloud computing. Preferred skills encompass data storytelling, project management, agile methodologies, building data pipelines, CI/CD practices, AI/ML orchestration, hands-on generative AI/ML experience, proficiency in languages like Python and tools like Spark, Snowflake, AWS, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
