Conversational AI Engineer, AI for Games: NVIDIA

NVIDIA's AI for Games team is looking for a world-class Conversational AI Engineer to develop next-generation gaming solutions enhanced with AI Assistants, Actors, and Agents. The ideal candidate is passionate about generative AI, language models, conversational pipelines, and their application in games. The role involves collaborating with other teams across NVIDIA to productize promising research and develop new features.

Responsibilities:
Use AI to solve product challenges in gaming and other interactive experiences.

Build upon the latest research to create world-class conversational pipelines for AI assistants and agents.

Enhance and fine-tune language models and retrieval-augmented generation solutions for improved accuracy and performance.

Create prototypes to demonstrate real-life applications of your ideas and accelerate productization.

Stay current with the latest AI/DL research and collaborate with diverse teams, including AI/DL researchers, hardware architects, and software engineers.

Participate in technology transfers to and from other NVIDIA teams.

Requirements:
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 5+ years of deep learning research or work experience focusing on language models, AI assistants, and agents.

Skills: Proficiency in C, C++, and Python with the ability to write high-performance production code.

Research: A proven track record of research excellence demonstrated through presentations, demos, or publications at leading venues such as GDC, ICCV/ECCV, SIGGRAPH, or through software projects or significant product development.

Bonus Skills:

Background with GPU programming, CUDA, and system optimizations.

Experience with speech and computer vision AI modules (e.g., ASR, TTS, and OCR).
