CHAI Research Internship: Center for Human-Compatible AI (CHAI)

The Center for Human-Compatible AI (CHAI) at UC Berkeley is offering an internship for individuals interested in conducting research on human-compatible AI. The program is designed for those with backgrounds in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or related fields and is open to a wide range of candidates, including undergraduates, Master's students, PhD students, and professional engineers transitioning to AI research.

Interns will work on a research project supervised by a mentor, which often leads to publications. The program also includes seminars, workshops, and social events to foster a collaborative research environment.

Requirements
A background in a relevant field (machine learning, computer science, mathematics, etc.).

Research experience in machine learning is advantageous but not required.

An understanding of CHAI's research interests, such as AI safety and human-AI interaction.
