Sahara AI, a decentralized AI blockchain platform, is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Professional. The company's mission is to make AI open, transparent, and accessible by democratizing access to AI resources. This is a high-impact, outward-facing role where you will be responsible for growing the customer base and revenue by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. You will work with AI startups, enterprise teams, and research labs, and you must understand both the value of quality data and the fast-evolving AI landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across AI startups, enterprises, and research organizations.
Lead the full sales process, from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure.
Understand client needs across different data modalities and translate them into scoped data service solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project delivery, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Maintain strong customer relationships for long-term satisfaction.
Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and partner discussions.
Maintain an accurate pipeline and report on deal progress and revenue forecasts.
Provide customer feedback and market insights to help refine product and service offerings.
Qualifications
Experience:
4+ years of B2B Sales/Business Development experience.
1+ years of experience working within data labeling.
Skills:
Strong understanding of AI/ML workflows and the role of high-quality labeled data in model development.
Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical offerings in a customer-centric way.
Comfortable engaging with technical decision-makers, including ML engineers, product leads, and innovation heads.
Tools: Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and outbound prospecting best practices.
