Attorney (Artificial Intelligence Law): W3Global Inc.

A large Salt Lake City law firm is seeking an attorney with specialized expertise in IP, technology law, and/or artificial intelligence (AI) laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will help the firm's clients navigate compliance challenges, risk management, product counseling, and policy development related to AI technologies across multiple global jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
Advise clients on AI-related laws, regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines (e.g., EU AI Act, U.S. AI laws).

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts involving AI technologies and services.

Support clients in building internal AI governance policies and ethical use frameworks.

Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments related to AI.

Collaborate with data privacy and intellectual property attorneys.

Contribute to thought leadership, including articles, webinars, and client alerts.

Requirements
Required Experience:

Over 6 years of experience with specialized expertise in IP, technology law, and/or AI laws and regulations.

Must either be a member of the Utah Bar or be willing to become a member as soon as possible.

Excellent academic credentials and strong writing skills.

A commitment to ethics, high motivation, and high attention to detail.

Ability to balance multiple projects and supervise a team of junior attorneys and staff.

Preferred Experience:

Law firm experience.

Familiarity with data privacy regulations as they relate to AI.

Experience in IP law (particularly copyright or patent drafting for AI technologies).

Experience in privacy law.

A background in computer science or engineering.
