What You’ll Do
This is a high-impact role focused on building Enterprise Agentic Systems. Unlike standard chatbots, these agents are designed to "reason," use tools, and automate complex workflows across Amgen’s R&D and Manufacturing sectors.

Core Responsibilities
Architect Agentic Systems: Design multi-agent planning, function calling, and workflow orchestration.

RAG & Memory: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using vector stores and Knowledge Graphs.

Enterprise Integration: Connect AI agents to massive internal systems like SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and LIMS.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all AI outputs meet strict Biopharma regulations (GxP, HIPAA, and 21 CFR Part 11).

FinOps & Performance: Optimize GPU utilization and sub-second latency for real-time conversational bots.

Qualifications & Expectations
Education/Experience Requirements
Amgen uses a sliding scale for experience based on your highest degree:

Doctorate: 2+ years of experience.

Master’s: 4+ years of experience.

Bachelor’s: 6+ years of experience.

Associate’s: 10+ years of experience.

Preferred Technical Skills
AI/ML Depth: 3–5 years specifically in AI/ML and enterprise software.

Advanced Reasoning: Knowledge of SPARQL, RDF/OWL, and structured reasoning.

Safety Tooling: Experience in jailbreak detection, PII redaction, and automated red-teaming.

Infrastructure: Proficiency with frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and Assistants APIs.
