Applied AI Engineer - AI Transformation: Charles Schwab

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative GenAI applications that enhance the client experience and drive business value. Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of GenAI applications.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business leaders to align solutions with Schwab’s enterprise strategy.

Work on complex technical challenges and support engineering best practices.

Drive the full lifecycle of a project, from concept to production.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of software development, with at least 3 years as a hands-on engineer. 1+ years of experience developing applications that use AI models, and 2+ years of experience with containers and cloud-native applications.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; a Master's or advanced degree is a plus.

Technical Proficiency:

Robust computer science fundamentals.

Experience working with applications or data pipelines that interface with large datasets.

Exposure to proprietary or open-source LLMs (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI).

Experience with Python and front-end development is preferred but not required.
