AI Strategy and Integration Lead: Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA)

Eligibility & Important Notes:

This position is open ONLY to current competitive service civilian DoDEA employees within the commuting area.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

The position is designated as Special Sensitive and requires a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

This is a Testing Designated position, subject to applicant and random drug testing.

About the Role (Responsibilities):
The AI Strategy and Integration Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing AI strategies within the Department of Defense Education Activity. This includes:

Developing AI literacy programs to promote workforce readiness.

Integrating AI into educational curricula to prepare future-ready learners.

Training educators to use AI to enhance instructional activities and developing AI training programs.

Monitoring and reporting on AI implementation progress.

Streamlining and automating AI operational workflows to improve efficiency.

Collaborating with IT partners to ensure AI systems are compliant with agency policies.

Requirements (Qualifications):

Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. This experience must include implementing AI strategies, enhancing workflows to optimize processes, and integrating AI into teaching and learning environments.

Time in Grade: Applicants who have held a GS position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the GS-13 level.

Competency will be evaluated in Artificial Intelligence, Education and Training, and Program Management.
