Responsibilities
Research and develop novel methods to push the frontier of large language models.

Work across various use cases (e.g., reasoning, code, agents) and modalities (e.g., text, image, speech).

Build tooling and infrastructure to allow for the training, evaluation, and analysis of AI models at scale.

Work cross-functionally with other scientists, engineers, and product teams to ship AI systems that have a real-world impact.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Highly proficient software engineer in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, Go, Java, etc.).

Hands-on experience with AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX) or distributed systems (e.g., Ray, Kubernetes).

High engineering competence, with the ability to design complex software for production use.

Must be a self-starter, autonomous, and a team player.

Ideal Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with training large transformer models in a distributed fashion.

Ability to navigate the full MLOps stack (e.g., fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment).

A strong publication record in a relevant scientific domain.

Experience with audio/speech processing (audio input/output, NLP).
