AI/ML Engineer: DecisionPoint Corporation

DecisionPoint is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to support a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role focuses on rapidly developing prototypes, implementing integrations, and operationalizing AI/ML capabilities.

Responsibilities
Prototyping & Development: Develop rapid prototypes, microservices, API wrappers, and widgets to validate new AI/ML concepts.

Integration: Integrate ML models into dashboards, applications, and operational workflows.

Optimization: Optimize ML pipelines for performance, scalability, and efficient inference.

Collaboration: Work with AI/ML Architects, Data Scientists, and cybersecurity teams to operationalize models and ensure security compliance.

Support: Support data ingestion, feature engineering, and preprocessing tasks.

Requirements
Security Clearance: Must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years in software development, AI/ML engineering, or data-driven application development.

Experience building API-driven prototypes and microservices.

Experience transitioning models to production.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.

Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).

Experience building REST APIs and integration layers.

Certifications:

Required: ITIL v4 Foundation.

Preferred: AI/ML or Cloud certifications; Scrum Master/Agile certifications.
