AI / Machine Learning Engineer (Mid to Senior Level): ALPHA GLOBAL

Alpha Global, a Dutch-headquartered recruitment and outsourcing firm, is hiring a skilled mid to senior level AI / Machine Learning Engineer to develop intelligent systems that power real-world business solutions for international clients. This is a remote-first role for professionals based in Nigeria.

This position is ideal for candidates with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, optimizing, and deploying production-level machine learning models using cloud-native platforms and modern ML frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mid-Level ML Engineer, you will:

Build, train, and deploy models for classification, clustering, regression, and recommendations.

Work with data engineers to prepare datasets and pipelines for training.

Tune models, monitor real-time performance, and conduct A/B testing.

Deploy models using AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or Google AI Platform with Docker and Kubernetes.

As a Senior ML Engineer, you will:

Lead the architecture of AI/ML workflows and infrastructure.

Drive MLOps adoption with tools like Kubeflow and Airflow.

Explore and implement advanced deep learning methods (e.g., Transformers, CNNs, NLP).

Mentor junior team members and guide the integration of AI services into broader systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in machine learning engineering with a proven track record of deploying ML models in production.

Technical Skills:

Languages: Python (required), R (optional), Java/Scala (bonus).

ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-Learn.

Cloud Platforms: AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform.

Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.

Certifications (Preferred): Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
