AI-First Software Engineer II: Trilogy

Trilogy is seeking an AI-First Software Engineer II to build AI-driven systems. Unlike most traditional software teams, Trilogy's entire development process is infused with AI, from feature ideation to bug detection. In this role, you'll be responsible for taking existing B2B products and re-architecting them as cloud-native applications optimized with AI. The focus is on shipping fast, eliminating waste, and building with precision. This is a hands-on coding role with minimal meetings and a strong emphasis on leveraging AI to streamline the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
AI-Driven Development: You will use AI development agents to design, develop, and deploy new features for cloud-native applications.

Defect Detection & Correction: You'll use analysis tools and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) vector stores to identify, diagnose, and fix product defects and bugs.

Feature Implementation: Implement AI-driven features to streamline workflows and provide innovative tools.

Collaboration: Work with a global team to deliver high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions.

Performance: You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth releases with zero outages or disruptions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: You must have at least 4+ years of professional experience in commercial software development, with a focus on production code for server-side web applications.

GenAI Proficiency: Experience using GenAI code assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, v0.dev) is a must. The company is not looking for traditional ML engineers without LLM experience.

Mindset: A willingness to fully integrate and use GenAI in your day-to-day development work. The ideal candidate is someone who doesn't tolerate bad code or outdated practices.
