AI Engineer: Capco

Capco, a leading global consultancy dedicated to the financial services industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Engineer. As a member of the Capco Technology Delivery Team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying modern generative AI solutions for top-tier clients in the financial sector.

This role focuses on leveraging expertise in foundation models, agentic AI systems, and full-stack application development to deliver high-impact, transformative projects. You will work across the entire AI lifecycle, from research and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring, helping clients innovate and navigate complex change.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and fine-tune applications built around foundation models (e.g., LLMs, multimodal models).

Implement and experiment with generative AI techniques, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and advanced prompt engineering.

Lead the implementation of intelligent autonomous agents and multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or Crew AI.

Develop full-stack applications that integrate generative AI models, ensuring seamless user experiences with both front-end and back-end technologies.

Deploy, manage, and optimize AI/ML workloads and full-stack applications on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Implement LLMOps/MLOps and DevOps best practices for CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on AI/ML, including proven experience building and deploying Generative AI models in production.

Technical Skills:

Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing agentic AI systems.

Solid experience with full-stack application development (e.g., React/Angular, Python/Node.js).

Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with LLMOps tools and practices (e.g., Langfuse, Langsmith).

Work Arrangement: Willingness to work in the New York office 3 days per week.
