Location: Evanston, IL (Hybrid, 2-3 days on-site) |
Deadline: Not specified
Experience: Mid
Continent: North America
Salary: $45 to $63 per hour
Gulf Coast Automation Group, through TalentFish, is seeking an AI Agent Developer to rapidly develop AI agents for enterprise clients. The role focuses on building intelligent, scalable, and secure AI solutions using the Microsoft ecosystem, specifically Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Power Platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with experience in these environments and a strong grasp of Microsoft's AI tools. You'll be working on building, deploying, and optimizing AI agents that can automate business processes and provide contextually accurate responses.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Deployment: You'll be responsible for the design, construction, and deployment of enterprise-ready AI agents using Microsoft tools like Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
AI Integration: You'll integrate various Large Language Models (LLMs) to enable advanced language, vision, and audio capabilities.
Contextual Accuracy: You'll leverage techniques like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and grounding to ensure AI agents provide accurate responses based on a client's specific enterprise data (e.g., SharePoint, internal APIs).
Collaboration and Optimization: You will work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-powered workflows and agents. You will also monitor agent performance using analytics and ensure compliance with data privacy and responsible AI standards.
Microsoft AI Ecosystem
The job requires expertise in several Microsoft platforms:
Microsoft Copilot Studio: This is a low-code platform for building and customizing AI agents. It allows you to create AI assistants that can automate business processes, engage with users, and retrieve information from various data sources.
Azure AI Foundry: This is a unified platform-as-a-service offering for enterprise AI operations. It provides the infrastructure, tools, and governance needed to build and deploy generative AI applications and intelligent agents at a production scale.
Power Platform: A suite of low-code tools from Microsoft used for building business applications. It includes Power Automate for creating automated workflows and Power Apps for building custom applications.
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
The job specifically mentions using RAG to provide contextually accurate responses. RAG is an AI framework that enhances the output of an LLM by giving it access to external, up-to-date, or proprietary data. Instead of solely relying on its pre-trained knowledge, the LLM first retrieves relevant information from a specified knowledge base (like a company's documents) and then uses that retrieved information to generate its response. This helps to reduce "hallucinations" and ensures the AI's output is grounded in a verifiable data source.
