As an Agentic AI Engineer, you will be responsible for building advanced, tool-using AI agents that can not only generate text but also take action and reason about complex problems. This is a crucial role within a small, high-caliber team that operates at the intersection of machine learning, systems, and national security to develop cutting-edge AI-powered analysis and simulation platforms.
Responsibilities
Architect and Deploy Agents: You will design, develop, and deploy advanced autonomous AI agents.
Real-time Decision-Making: Implement intelligent agent systems capable of making real-time decisions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and analysts to transform concepts into robust, working solutions.
Mentorship: Mentor and guide other engineering teams on best practices for developing agent-based AI.
Enhance Performance: Continuously evaluate, test, and enhance the capabilities and performance of the agentic systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience. You must have proven experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions, specifically autonomous agents.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong proficiency in Python and related libraries like FastAPI, asyncio, and PyTorch.
Experience with Agentic Frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGPT, or Semantic Kernel.
Direct experience integrating generative AI models like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and LLaMA into practical agentic systems.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, distributed, and cloud-native systems.
Extensive experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs.
Knowledge of techniques for grounding generative models with external knowledge sources, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Knowledge Graphs.
Citizenship & Clearance: The position requires you to be a US citizen residing in the contiguous United States and be eligible for a security clearance.
